You can find some videos online or you can buy a DVD (or a book) that will teach you a few moves that you can do while your baby is asleep. Perhaps the best post natal exercise you can do if you want to lose weight is to lie on your back and bend your knees. Put your hands behind your head and take a deep breath in. Then, breathe back out as you contract your abs and lift your head as well as your shoulders off of the floor. Then, straighten your legs and move them into a 45 degree angle while you keep your palms down and lift your arms. Pump your arms while inhaling rhythmicly for five beats. Release your air on a count of five. Try to do 100 of these and you'll be in great shape in no time at all.
The Bicycle: This doesn't actually mean you will be riding a bicycle. This ab exercise is perfect for women who want to lose the weight they gained during their pregnancy. Start out by lying down with your calves are parallel to the floor and your knees bent. Put your hands behind your head and inhale and then exhale while you draw your abs in. Keeping your butt relaxed, bring your left knee up to your right shoulder while you extend your right leg. Your head and your shoulders need to raise up off the ground during this movement. Then return to your starting position and then repeat the same on the other side. Do three sets of twelve to twenty and you'll soon see that baby fat melting away.
These are exercises that can all be done while your baby takes a nap. Even if you have to do several small workouts instead of one big one each day it is better than not doing any exercises at all. It isn't hard to lose baby weight if that is what you want to do. Luckily you can use each of these three tips to help you reach that goal.
