Kindle Vs Nook Kindle Is Way Compacter Yet Larger Than Nook

Looking for a cool e-reader? Kindle vs Nook? I’ll tell you which one I prefer. Let me point out 11 points through which you can compare them. I truly love Kindle way more. I know this through personal experience. There are a lot of reasons to love the kindle. But I will let you decide. But Kindles future does look better. The 11 good points:

-Size: Nook is smaller than Kindle but not as compact. Still Kindle is thinner.

-Weight: Kindle is around 3oz lighter than the original Nook. 7oz lighter than Nook Color.

-Battery: Nook beats Kindle for battery life in some cases. Kindles battery lasts about 4 weeks if not using the Internet, old Nook lasts 2 weeks, but Nook Touch lasts 8 weeks, and Nook Color will last about 8 hours.

-Screen: Contrast is better for the Kindle 3, and equal to new Nook Touch. Both of the readers have no glare, except for the color Nook version as it has a LCD screen.

-Navigation: This is the negative for Kindle: it uses real buttons and a toggle for navigation instead of touch screen, personal preference. Nook is touch screen at different sizes depending on the model.

-Memory: Take you electronic library with you! You need enough memory, and Kindle has it. Compared to the original Nook, and the Nook Touch, Kindles internal memory is twice larger. The positive side for Nook: memory is expandable.

-Free books: Both have free book opportunities, but Kindle has more. Nook will support .ePub public library books. Free .mobi books are abundant online and Kindle supports them. You can get Kindle Books at 11,000 public libraries.

-Yes! Kindle has 3G free real Internet! Awesome. Sorry to say that the Nook Touch and Color come only with WiFi.

-Rating: Nook: 3.7 to 4.3, Kindle has the highest: 4.5

-Price: eBooks are cheaper on Amazon, and Kindle is cheaper than Nook.

-Making the Kindle selection incredibly diverse, offering very low priced but high quality independent books, Kindle is smart, and makes it really easy for authors to publish their books on the Kindle.

Then again if you get the new Kindle tablet Fire for a mere $199.00 that can do everything an ipad can do, personally there is no compression.

Nook isn't bad, you make the choice, but I think Nook will have to do something big to beat Kindle. With the exception of the glare I personally think that ibook browsers from the Ipad is better than Kindle. But the book market is hard to beat when competing with Amazon. If you ask the question Where can I buy a Kindle you have found it. You can order the all-new Kindle Fire, which can do: movies, apps, games, music, reading and more, plus Amazon's revolutionary, cloud-accelerated web browser!
